A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our sponsors…
You make this event possible!
We also want to thank all our vendors, everyone that donated to our raffle, exhibitors, judges and not to be forgotten… HOFA Members as well as all those that attended the 15th Ferret Buckeye Bash…you are what made this show what it is!
We are proud to announce we have a new show hall venue!
As some of you know, for the past 14 years, the Ferret Buckeye Bash has been held at Veteran’s Memorial Hall, downtown Columbus, OH. Sadly as of Aug. 1, 2014, Veteran’s Memorial will close and be demolished.
We have moved to:
4411 Tamarack Blvd.,
Columbus OH (NE side of Columbus – off Morse Rd.)
We are excited about this new show hall. It’s smaller than our old site but we are confident that there will be plenty of room. Parking is free, WiFi is free, nice padded chairs, 8’ vendor tables, a 12’ x 20’ projector screen in lobby for advertisements, a concession stand for food but outside food is allowed and 2-large projector screens in show hall for posting ferret numbers being called. Easy to find location, just off Morse Rd., 2 miles East of I-71 North and 3 miles West of I-270 on Eastside.
SEE YOU IN AUGUST!

We have LOST our presenting sponsor. If you, your company or anyone you know would be interested becoming our presenting sponsor or any of the other wonderful sponsorship opportunities, please consider it. Without our generous sponsors, this show cannot exist. They provide the means to make our show successful for so many involved.
Heart of Ohio Ferret Association & Rescue (HOFA Rescue) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit club and shelter which promotes responsible ferret ownership and awareness. Our shelter takes in between 90-130 ferrets in a given year. It is only through the proceeds from the FERRET BUCKEYE BASH, the dedication of club members and valuable support from our show sponsors that we are able to provide the necessary veterinary services, food, bedding, litter and love these special animals need.
The Ferret Buckeye Bash is the largest ferret show in the USA. This year is our 16th year in Columbus, Ohio. We have between 300-500 walk-ins, over 400 ferrets entered, 60 exhibitors, speakers, fun events and an awesome raffle. People come from around the world, some as far as England, Australia and Japan, to attend and meet with other ferret people they have met through Facebook and other social venues. A good time is had by all. Our vendors consist mainly of other ferret shelter/rescues selling items to help support their shelter. For many of the shelters..this is their largest source of income outside donations.
